ABOUT ME

EXPERIMENTATION. ENTREPRENEURSHIP. WEB DEVELOPMENT.

Hello! My name is Dzifa Mensah Okpata, and I work at the intersection of tech, storytelling and data to build experiments online.

Hi there! I’m a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist with over 11 years of experience helping organizations turn insights into real, meaningful growth. I love what I do because it sits right at the sweet spot where data, storytelling, technology, and human behavior meet. I don’t just chase numbers, I create digital experiments that actually connect with people and make them want to take action.

Right now, I’m working on optimizing online products for one of UK’s biggest charities, and I’m also deep into my Master’s in Business Analytics because I’m genuinely fascinated by how data and business strategy work together. My path to get here has been wonderfully unconventional, and honestly, that’s what makes it work.

It all started with Economics in university, which taught me how to think analytically and solve problems systematically. Then I dove headfirst into the startup world, training as a software entrepreneur where I learned to code, build products, and think like a creator. But here’s the thing, I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. Over time, I became completely obsessed with understanding how data, design, and digital experiences actually shape the way people feel, behave, and make decisions.

I’ve built businesses from the ground up, including an online bridal wear startup in Ghana, and co-founded a payroll company in Nigeria that raised venture capital and angel investment. Currently, I’m running a beauty business across Ghana and the UK, determined to make beauty maintenance easier for women by creating products that are genuinely easy to use like press-on nails and pre-glued cluster lashes.

Along the way, I’ve managed teams, run campaigns, optimized user flows, and consulted across everything from eCommerce and education to media, tech, and government. I’ve led performance marketing campaigns, designed user onboarding experiences, launched products, built web applications, and worked on social strategy, A/B testing, and website optimization.

But honestly, my work goes way beyond just hitting metrics.

I’m deeply passionate about women’s empowerment and personal growth. I founded a women-only community, Zero To Woman, to provide resources that help women grow in their careers, businesses, and personal lives and I created a press-on nail brand, Imara Beauty, designed to give working women both ease and elegance. I believe that technology can be a tool not just for scaling businesses, but for uplifting people.

My work has taken me across different cities and cultures, and I carry every single lesson with me. Whether I’m consulting for global brands, training hundreds of young people in digital skills, or launching my own ventures, I’m driven by this mission to build things that matter, solve real problems, and leave people better than I found them.

When I’m not optimizing funnels or mapping user journeys, you’ll probably find me traveling, journaling, or building spaces where people, especially women, can really thrive.
